严建华，教授，博士生导师。教育部长江学者特聘教授，浙江大学发展委员会副主席、能源高效清洁利用全国重点实验室主任、固废能源化清洁利用技术与装备国家工程研究中心主任、浙江大学研究生教育研究中心（全国学位管理与研究生教育战略研究基地）主任，国家973项目首席科学家，浙江省特级专家，国务院政府特殊津贴获得者。历任浙江大学研究生院院长，校党委副书记、副校长。两次获国家级教学成果一等奖，国家级科技进步一等奖等奖项。

Yan Jianhua, professor, doctoral supervisor. Distinguished professor of Cheung Kong Scholars of Ministry of Education, Vice Chairman of the Development Committee of Zhejiang University, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Clean Utilization Technology and Equipment of Solid Waste Energy, Director of the Graduate Education Research Center of Zhejiang University, Chief Scientist of Major State Basic Research Development Program of China (973 Project) , super expert in Zhejiang Province, and winner of special government allowance of the State Council. He has served as Dean of Graduate School of Zhejiang University, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Zhejiang University, and Vice President of Zhejiang University. He won the first prize of national higher education teaching achievement award and the first prize of national technological progression award.

Attendance at this event is compulsory for all 2024 new residents of Weixue College. If you are unable to attend, please send an email to xingfeng@intl.zju.edu.cn with the subject "Name + Weixue College Meeting with the Master" by 19th October at 17:00. Failure to attend without prior notification will result in cancellation from the next event.
