10月19日，观通书院赛艇基地揭幕仪式圆满举行。观通书院院长应义斌，国际校区学生事务部部长兼书院支持中心主任吴行，海宁市少年儿童体育学校校长吴冷西，海宁市少年儿童体育学校教练陈景磊出席活动。应义斌院长，吴冷西校长，陈景磊教练和赛艇队队长梁明德共同为基地揭牌。
陈景磊教练在致辞中表示，赛艇运动是浙江大学所秉持的“求是创新”精神的生动体现，也是“三全育人”理念的深化实践，有助于同学们体质和意志品质的全面发展。梁明德作为队长发言，回顾了观通赛艇队一路走来的历程，并对队伍的未来充满信心与期待。
赛艇基地的启用为队员们提供了更为专业的训练条件和发展平台，也标志着国际校区水上运动进入新阶段。应义斌院长鼓励队员们充分利用书院提供的条件，继续在水上竞技的舞台上追逐梦想，展现国际校区学子的风采！

On October 19th, the unveiling ceremony of Guantong College Rowing Base was held. The distinguished attendees included: Ying Yibin, Master of Guantong College; Wu Hang, Director of Office of Student Affairs and Director of Support Center of Residential College; Wu Lengxi, Principal of the Youth Athletic School of Haining; and Chen Jinglei, Coach of the Youth Athletic School of Haining. The unveiling ceremony marks a new stage for water sports at the International Campus, encouraging the team members to further pursue their dreams on the stage of water sports competition.
