12月21日，惟学书院院长严建华教授与数名学生共进晚餐，畅谈学习与成长。严教授以同学们各自所属的学院、专业为切入点，结合自己的学术研究与科研历程，激励同学们保持思考、善于思考，主动研究、开拓创新，勇于探索未知。同时，严教授也总结了书院所做出的革新，鼓励同学们多参与书院活动，在活动中收获成长与进步。对于同学们提出的学习方法、职业规划及生活困惑等，严教授均给予了耐心的指导和帮助。“这不仅仅是一场简单的聚餐，更是一次心灵的触碰，一次智慧的对话，也让我深刻感受到了书院所弘扬的 ‘家文化’，加深了我对书院教育理念的认同。”来自ZIBS的段姝慧同学如此谈到。ZJE的卓珂同学则表示，“严教授通过树立节约资源意识，来开拓我们的创新能力，严教授的话语也让我对自己管理单元的方式有了更多的思考”。

On December 21st, Professor Yan Jianhua, the Master of Weixue College, had dinner with several students to talk about learning and growth. Professor Yan, using students' colleges and majors as a basis, combined his academic and research experience to inspire critical thinking, initiative in research and innovation, and exploration of the unknown.Meanwhile, Prof. Yan highlighted the college's innovations and encouraged student participation in college activities for growth. He also provided guidance on learning methods, career planning, and life questions.
