On April 2, the 23rd lecture of the 2022 career planning series, "Public Examination Interview", was held online. Fan Zhichao, a senior public examination tutor, was invited to teach the students in the international campus the key points of public examination interview.

Teacher Fan Zhichao first introduced the composition of the civil service exam, and listed the similarities and differences between the civil service exam and the candidate exam, to help students quickly understand the "basic board" of the public exam interview.

"Whether the time is delayed or not, the basic requirements in the interview remain unchanged." Due to the epidemic situation, the time of the recent public examination has been delayed, but Teacher Fan Zhichao said that he still needs to understand and "understand" the interview requirements in the original announcement. She reminded students to carefully see the requirements and check each step before applying for the exam, so as to be sure of everything.

"Structured interview is the main type of public examination interview. I believe that students have encountered similar interview methods." Teacher Fan Zhichao focused on the setting of examination room personnel, interview time, form, quantity and type of questions. She suggested that everyone "don't rely too much on paper and pen, and practice undrafting in the preparation stage". For various types of questions such as self-awareness, social phenomena and comprehensive analysis, she gave her own idea of "breaking the question": "When preparing for the exam, learn more about new measures and methods, reflect them in the answers, and then add her own thinking."

Teacher Fan Zhichao mainly introduced the inspection criteria of public examination interview. Fluent expression, complete logic, standard wording and profound insight are all bonus items for the interview. "The ability of written examination and interview is not separated, and preparing for the written examination is also preparing for the interview.". She suggested that students should fully obtain online resources, fully grasp information and "seize every interview opportunity".
