On March 17, the third lecture of the pre job training of 2022, "Power BI Data Processing and Analysis", was held in the multi-function hall of the Residential College (No. 1). Shao Zhaozhao, from the support and security department of the campus, introduced Power BI, a simple, easy-to-use and powerful data processing and analysis software, and explained common applications and use skills with examples, leading us to explore the mysteries behind various cool visual reports.

Taking the report on the whereabouts of the graduates in the campus as an example, Shao Zhaozhao carried out teaching on the use of Power BI software from five aspects: loading data, drawing charts, realizing multi column data association, beautifying reports, and publishing and sharing, helping the students on the scene to master the basic use methods of Power BI, and fully experienced its powerful advantages of simplicity and convenience in operation. Professor Shao Zhaozhao mentioned that "Power BI simplifies the process of requiring programmers to write code into steps that can be realized by dragging and dropping the mouse", enabling ordinary people without programming foundation to quickly start and easily carry, opening up a new road for non computer majors to visualize data.

With the advent of the age of big data, data processing and analysis have gradually penetrated into all aspects of our lives. What can Power BI do for us as students? In combination with her work experience, Shao Zhaozhao showed the students several completed report cases, such as the utilization rate of the college's large classroom, the number of visitors to the blackboard system, and the statistics of the students' graduation application institutions. These examples from daily life vividly show the powerful functions of the software, such as interaction, screening, fast production and sharing, and great artistic potential. They also let the students present understand how data analysis is applied to learning and life, and help us make decisions more efficiently.
