On October 27, the Residential College held the 29th lecture of iCareer career planning series. Wu Sijia, a 2022 graduate of the Master of Finance who was admitted as a candidate in Zhejiang Province, was invited. Gu Limirer, the deputy head of the policy propaganda group for candidates in Zhejiang University Foundation Association, analyzed the policies for candidates and their experience in preparing for the exam with the theme of "serving the grassroots and making contributions to the new era".

"Be a pioneer of the times" - Gulimire first introduced the work orientation of selected students from the perspective of ideological preparation. She mainly introduced the different channels of candidates' examination from the aspects of directional selection, general selection and so on. "Our Zhejiang University student selection team is also growing." Gulimire focused on analyzing the specific requirements of directional selection in Zhejiang, and introduced the matters needing attention in terms of the type, conditions, and procedures of directional selection.

Wu Sijia is a 2022 financial master graduate who was admitted to Zhejiang Province as a candidate. She shared her test preparation materials and experience with students from three aspects: ideological preparation, written interview preparation and experience enlightenment. "Efforts are important, planning and selection are more important; efforts are important, the spirit of contract is more important; efforts are important, down-to-earth is more important; efforts are important, serving the truss at the grass-roots level is important." By sharing her "several important" pithy formula experience from preparing for exams to working, she pointed out the various work qualities that need to be possessed when going deep into the grassroots. Choosing students is like a "catfish" that activates grass-roots work. On the ridge of the field and in front of the kang, the answer sheet of youth is written into green water and green mountains. "If we go to the grassroots and the people to make contributions and make achievements, and let the flower of youth bloom where the motherland needs most, we will certainly be able to write our own wonderful life and inject endless youth vitality into the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation."

Thanks to the two sisters who introduced the policies and preparation for the transfer students in detail, pointed out the precautions in selecting and applying for the transfer students based on their own experiences, and shared the relevant resources of the school with us. I have a deeper understanding of the policy of selecting students to be transferred because of my family and country feelings and great ambitions. In this lecture, I understood the requirements and responsibilities of the selected candidates. The progressiveness of the Party must always have excellent talent input. As students of Zhejiang University, we should also actively strive to serve the grassroots through the selected candidates and then make our own contributions to the Party building; In addition, we also learned about the admission process and system of the candidates, and also learned about the suggestions for preparing for the provincial and national examinations, which provided useful suggestions for me to participate in the candidates in the future. We also need to constantly ask ourselves to be advanced in order to become candidates.
