Lap-Chee Tsui, Master of Residential College, held a Spring Semester reception in the multi-purpose hall, and had a communication with the college students.

Lap-Chee Tsui shared the history of the high table dinner in British Colleges, and pointed out that it is not only a social platform but a very important issue in Residential College. The setting of high tables and wearing style follow a strict way according to special manner. The universities inherited the tradition of British Universities with some other adjustments according to China’s national conditions and customs. Some students also came up with a few ideas and suggestions on self-organized activities, Lap-Chee gave his respond and encouragement. He suggested that the students should hold a good tradition for the future as the very first group in International Campus.

Associate Master of Residential College Jenny Wang attended the event as well.
